Job summary

Hope Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Laundry Aide to support our housekeeping team in delivering clean linens and maintaining a hygienic facility for residents. This is a full-time on-site role in Illinois, requiring attention to detail and teamwork in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

The Laundry Aide will operate washing and ironing equipment, sort and fold laundry, and assist with linen closet restocking while ensuring confidentiality and following HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• 0 years of experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move laundry and linens (up to 50 pounds).
• Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks accurately.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

• Sort, wash, dry, iron, and fold resident laundry and linens.
• Operate heavy-duty washing machines and dryers, as well as ironing equipment.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the laundry room and stockroom.

• Assist with changing bed linens and restocking linen closets as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the housekeeping team.
