Park View Rehab Center is seeking a Housekeeping/Laundry Aide to perform daily duties in our facility, ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary environment. You will manage linen supplies, assist with laundry tasks, and support the care team to meet resident needs.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of healthcare housekeeping experience, can lift heavy loads, and follow detailed cleaning instructions. The role requires standing most shifts and reliable time management in a team setting.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of healthcare housekeeping/laundry experience.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and move equipment and supplies over 50 pounds.
• Must follow written and oral cleaning instructions and safety guidelines.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year experience in nursing home housekeeping.

Responsabilités

• Perform laundry duties: washing, drying, folding, and ironing patient garments and linens.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of linens, towels, and laundry equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area adhering to facility standards.
• Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

The primary purpose of the Housekeeping/Laundry Aide is to perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility and as may be directed by the Administrator and/or Supervisor to assure that our facility is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner and that an adequate supply of linen in on hand at all times to meet the needs of the residents.

Shifts:

• Monday's, Tuesday's 3pm-8pm
• Wednesday's 7am-3pm Including every other weekend.

Experience:

• Must have 1 year or more experience in healthcare housekeeping/laundry

General Qualifications:

• Must be able to lift, push, pull and move equipment, supplies, etc., in excess of fifty (50) pounds.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixture of cleaning compounds, liquids, cleaning instructions, etc.
• Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a minimum one-year experience working in a nursing homehousekeeping position

Qualifications and Skills

Perform, follow and adhere to proper body mechanics necessary to perform duties.

Must be able to stand most shift and do repetitive arm/shoulder movements.

Must be able to assume responsibility and possess ability to work independently, problem solving and managing time.
