Job summary

The Terrace, operated by Bluegrass Health Partners, is seeking a Laundry Aide to join our team. This role supports maintaining high- quality life for residents in a caring, residential setting and offers a chance to be part of a family with a mission-driven culture.

Responsibilities include washing, drying, folding, storing facility laundry and assisting with personal clothing. A high school diploma or GED is preferred; multiple benefits are provided to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform general laundry tasks, such as washing, drying, and folding laundry.
• Wash, dry, fold, iron, and store all facility laundry.
• Wash, dry, fold, and distribute all residents’ personal clothing.
• Keep work areas free of hazardous conditions, spills, baskets, supplies, equipment, etc.
• Discard waste and trash into proper containers and re-line receptacles with plastic liners.
• Assure that work assignment areas are clean and that equipment, tools, supplies, etc. are properly stored during work periods, as well as before leaving the area for breaks, meals, and end of workday.
• Clean laundry equipment, carts, etc.

Laundry Aide Requirements:
