Job summary

Palace Renaissance & Royale Assisted Living & Catered Living Community in Miami, FL is seeking a Laundry Aide to maintain a steady supply of bed linens, towels, and resident laundry. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work with a team.

Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. English reading/writing is required; Spanish is a plus. Candidates must be able to operate large laundry equipment and work weekends, holidays, and emergencies as needed.

The #1 Priority of this position is…

To maintain and distribute a clean supply of bed linens, towels and wash cloths for our residents as well as residents’ personal laundry which have to be maintained in a clean, non-wrinkled and spot free state.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Wash all laundry and separate items as outlined in facility policies & procedures.
• Keep laundry room and shelves clean and organized.
• Fold and put away towels, sheets, blankets, etc.
• Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare setting preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and follow oral instructions in English. Spanish preferred.
• Basic math skills required.
• Must be able to operate industrial size washer and dryer.
