Job summary

Heritage Care & Rehabilitation Center in Mason City, IA is seeking a Laundry Aide to join our caring team. You will help maintain the cleanliness and infection control standards of residents' linen and clothing, ensuring a steady supply of fresh linens for daily operations.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior Laundry Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and infection control standards of residents' linen and clothing.
• Sort, wash, dry, label and deliver resident clothing and facility linen.
• Ensure an adequate supply of facility linen is available for residents.

As a Laundry Aide you are instrumental in maintaining the cleanliness and infection control standards of our residents’ linen and clothing. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Heritage Care & Rehabilitation Center by ensuring an adequate supply of facility linen is available and by sorting, washing, drying, labeling, and delivering resident clothing and facility linen. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior Laundry Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
