Job summary

Maplewood Health Care Center in Jackson, Tennessee is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to support our healthcare team. You will follow cleaning schedules, handle laundry tasks, maintain infection control standards, and help prepare rooms for admissions or changes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Long-term care or applicable experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow cleaning schedules, completing daily assignments.
• Maintain a high standard of presentation while adhering to infection control policies.
• Perform laundry tasks (count linens, deliver to units, sanitize work areas, operate washer/dryer).
• Assist with room readiness for admissions or room changes.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Administrator, Environmental Services Director, or Regional Director of Maintenance.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information (PHI).

• Follow all cleaning schedules, completing daily assignments.
• Maintain a high standard of presentation always adhering to infection control policies.
• Perform laundry tasks (counting linens, delivering to units, sanitizing work areas, operating washer, and dryers, etc.).
• Assist with room readiness for admissions and/or room changes.
• Perform any other additional tasks as assigned by the Administrator, Environmental Services Director, or Regional Director of Maintenance.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.

Laundry Aide Requirements
