Job summary

Fundamental in Irving, TX is seeking a Laundry Aide to perform daily laundry tasks, distribute clean linen, and maintain a sanitary work area in accordance with facility standards.

You will collect soiled linens, wash and dry, fold, and iron as needed, with on-the-job training provided. English proficiency and reliable transportation are required; healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must possess at minimum a High School Education or equivalent G.E.D
• General laundry/ housekeeping experience preferred, but not required, as on the job training will be provided
• Must speak and understand English
• Must have reliable transportation
• Experience in a healthcare facility preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform general laundry duties including distribution of clean linen and maintaining a clean work area

The Laundry Aide will perform the day-to-day laundry activities in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing the facility, and as may be instructed by the Director of Housekeeping Services, to ensure that general laundry duties, distribution of clean linen, and maintenance of a clean work area is complete.

Posted Salary Range

USD $14.00 - USD $15.00 /Hr.

Wage Commensuration

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
