Responsibilities

• Transport laundry containers of soiled and clean linen carts
• Operate commercial washing machines and dryers
• Sort and load soiled linen into washers and load clean, wet linens into dryers
• Fold clean, dry linen and place into carts
• Keep accurate records of linen inventory
• Wash, dry, fold, and distribute clothing
• Maintain equipment and laundry areas, keeping them clean, neat, orderly, and safe
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Check stock and notify supervisor of supply needs
• Deliver laundry as specified
• Prioritize customer service by ensuring high-quality, compassionate service to residents and families

Requirements

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions regarding cleaning compounds, disinfectants, etc.
• Ability to work independently
• Flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic
• Effective communication with residents and staff
• Criminal background check required
• Laundry experience is a plus
