Yona Solutions is looking for a friendly Laundry Aide to join our team in Hamtramck, Michigan. Experience is not required, but preferred, and you will help maintain clean linens and provide warm, respectful service to residents and coworkers.

You will operate commercial washers and dryers, transport laundry, sort and fold linens, and keep accurate records. The role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to high cleanliness standards in a supportive environment.

Formación

• Follow written and oral instructions concerning cleaning compounds and disinfectants.
• Ability to work independently.
• Flexibility, integrity and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively with residents and personnel.
• Criminal background check required.
• Laundry experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts.
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers.
• Folds clean, dry linen and places into clean carts.
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory.
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing.
• Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, keeps areas neat, orderly and safe.
• Follows all company policies and procedures; checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs.
• Delivers laundry as specified.
• Puts customer service first: ensures customers and families receive high-quality service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers
• Proceeds to fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing
• Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, cleans and keeps areas in a neat orderly and safe manner
• Follows all company policies and proceduresChecks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs
• Delivers laundry as specified

Requirements:

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc
• Ability to work independently
• Possess flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively with the residents and personnel
• Must provide a criminal background check
• Laundry experience is a plus
