Yona Solutions in Dearborn Heights, MI is seeking a Laundry Aide to help maintain a clean, comfortable environment for residents. Experience is not required, but preferred, and you will handle towels, linens, and clothing with care.

You will operate washing machines and dryers, sort and load items, fold and distribute laundry, keep inventory records, and deliver items to residents. We offer a generous benefits package and opportunities for career growth in a supportive team.

Formación

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions for cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to work independently.
• Criminal background check required.
• Laundry experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and cleans linen carts.
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers.
• Folds clean, dry linen and places into carts.
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory.
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing.
• Maintains equipment and laundry areas, keeping them neat, orderly and safe.
• Delivers laundry as specified and checks stock with supervisor.
• Provides high-quality, compassionate customer service to residents and families.

Responsibilities:

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers
• Proceeds to fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing
• Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, cleans and keeps areas in a neat orderly and safe manner
• Follows all company policies and proceduresChecks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs
• Delivers laundry as specified
• Puts Customer Service First: Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individual's needs and rights

Requirements:

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc
• Ability to work independently
• Possess flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively with the residents and personnel
• Must provide a criminal background check
• Laundry experience is a plus
