Job summary

Hammonton Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide for Hammonton, NJ. The role includes sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens and clothing, labeling items, and maintaining a clean laundry area.

Shifts include full-time 8 am–4 pm and part-time 4 pm–11 pm with weekend rotation. Excellent benefits are offered with the full-time rate of $15.49 per hour and $16.54 per hour without benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year laundry or housekeeping experience.
• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Team-player mentality.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Reliable, efficient, detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort & transport soiled laundry
• Operate commercial washers & dryers
• Load, unload & fold linens/clothing
• Label resident clothing accurately
• Distribute clean linens & personal items
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry room & machines
• Follow infection-control & safety procedures
• Monitor linen supply levels
• Notify supervisor of machine issues or shortages
