Majestic Care Goshen is seeking a compassionate Laundry Aide to maintain resident clothing and community linen with accuracy and care.

You will support the care team by ensuring clean laundry and a safe, healthy environment, while following infection control practices. The role requires reading, writing, and clear English communication, with physical duties such as standing, lifting, and bending.

• Basic reading and writing proficiency.

• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean resident clothing and community linen as assigned.
• Read, write, and communicate clearly to ensure resident safety and well-being.
• Perform tasks requiring reach, standing, walking, sitting, lifting, and bending.

Position Overview:

The Laundry Aide is responsible for the cleaning of resident clothing and community linen.

Key Responsibilities:

• This position requires for the care team member to be able to perform and complete each essential duty satisfactorily.




• This position requires for the care team member to be able to read, write, have excellent communication skills, and understand the spoken English language to ensure the safety

  
  

  and well-being of the residents.




• This position requires for the care team member to be able to reach (overhead), stand,

walk, sit, pull, lift, carry, push, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and twist.

• This position requires for the care team member to be knowledgeable of infection control techniques.
