Job summary

AdviniaCare is seeking a laundry aide to support our nursing home operations. You will handle soiled linens, sort, wash, dry, fold, and return clean textiles to rooms and closets. You will also discuss additional laundering services with residents as needed.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, basic experience with laundry equipment, and the ability to stand long periods and lift up to 20 pounds. This role supports a safe, clean living environment for residents.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Description

A dedicated worker who will support the functions of the nursing home establishment. The laundry attendant's responsibilities may include delivers soiled linens to laundry, sorts, washes, dries, folds and returns clean linens to linen closets and resident rooms. Consult with patients to discuss supplementary laundering-related services that may be of use to them. Ultimately, they play a crucial role in the presentation of the establishment by ensuring all textiles are well cared for and maintained.
