Yona Solutions is seeking a Laundry Aide in Columbia Heights, MN. You will provide warm, friendly hospitality to residents, visitors, and coworkers while operating laundry equipment and maintaining clean, organized facilities.

Experience is not required but preferred. This role supports residents with clean linen, clothing, and timely delivery, with a focus on excellent customer service and teamwork in a care-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts.
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers.
• Folds, distributes, and inventories clean linens and customer clothing.
• Keeps laundry areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs.
• Delivers laundry as specified.
• Prioritizes customer service and compassionate care for residents and families.

Responsibilities:

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers
• Proceeds to fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing
• Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, cleans and keeps areas in a neat orderly and safe manner
• Follows all company policies and procedures
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs
• Delivers laundry as specified
• Puts Customer Service First: Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individual's needs and rights

Requirements:

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc
• Ability to work independently
• Possess flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively with the residents and personnel
• Must provide a criminal background check
• Laundry experience is a plus
