Job summary

Yona Eagle is seeking a Laundry Aide in Milwaukee, WI to provide warm, friendly hospitality through clean laundry and clothing services for residents and staff. Experience not required but preferred; training will be provided to ensure high-quality service in a caring environment.

The role involves operating laundry equipment, sorting, folding, delivering and maintaining accurate inventory while adhering to safety and company policies at a compassionate, resident-focused facility.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions for mixing cleaning compounds.
• Ability to work independently.
• Flexible, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
• Good rapport with residents and personnel.
• Criminal background check required.
• Laundry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts.
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers.
• Folds clean, dry linen and places into clean carts.
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory.
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing.
• Maintains equipment and laundry areas; keeps areas neat, orderly and safe.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs.
• Delivers laundry as specified.
• Puts Customer Service First: ensures customers and families receive high-quality service in a caring atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers

• Proceeds to fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing
• Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, cleans and keeps areas in a neat orderly and safe manner
• Follows all company policies and procedures
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs
• Delivers laundry as specified
• Puts Customer Service First: Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individual's needs and rights

Requirements
