Job summary

Elevate Care Windsor Park in Chicago is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to support residents by keeping clothing, bed linens, and towels clean and readily available. You will sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linen supplies to ensure a comfortable living environment.

We value compassion, attention to detail, and the ability to lift and carry laundry. Prior laundry or housekeeping experience is preferred, with training provided in a supportive team setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in Laundry or Housekeeping preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry laundry.
• Detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Laundry Services - Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute residents' clothing, bed linens, and towels.
• Maintain Cleanliness - Ensure laundry equipment and work areas are clean, organized, and sanitized.
• Inventory Control - Monitor and track the supply of linens and clothing to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Assist with Special Laundry Needs - Handle delicate or special laundry items with care, following all safety and hygiene guidelines.
• Work with Team Members - Collaborate with staff to meet residents' laundry needs and ensure timely service.
