Settlers Ridge Care Center in Celina, TX is seeking a Laundry Aide to join our team. The role involves sorting soiled linen, operating laundry equipment safely, and delivering clean linens to residents.

The position supports housekeeping tasks and adheres to safety policies. We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance and retirement options.

Formación

• Previous experience in laundry operations preferred.
• Being able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Able to tactfully communicate with staff, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and the general public.
• Regular, predictable, and dependable attendance.

Responsabilidades

• Sort soiled linen with proper PPE on.
• Ensure washing machines are clean and functioning/ all chemicals full.
• Replace chemicals when empty using proper PPE.
• Ensure dryers are clean and functioning/ no lint buildup in lint trap.
• Proper use of washers and dryers - not overloading washing machines and cleaning the dryer lint traps every 3 loads.
• Hanging resident's personal clothes in their spots on the clothing racks.
• Delivering linens to the hall closets and personal clothes to the proper resident's room/closets.
• Dust and clean assigned areas
• Dust-mop, Wet-mop, or spot-mop floors by using appropriate proportioned cleaning chemicals as scheduled.
• Wash and dry windows by using appropriate proportioned cleaning chemicals as scheduled.
• Empty trash containers, replace liners and dispose of trash in proper receptacles.
• Report repair needs to supervisor and/or maintenance department as appropriate.
• Knowledge and understanding on how to properly use cleaning chemicals according to Safety Data Sheets.
• Use proper safety equipment and tools to identify safety hazards and abide by community's safety policies and procedures.
