Progressive Care Center is seeking a Laundry Aide to join our environmental services team!

Full Time Monday through Friday- 7am to 3:30pm

$15.00 to $16.50 DOE

As an important member of our team, the Laundry Aide performs day-to-day Laundry services ensuring a clean, timely return of personal belongings.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing day-to-day laundry as assigned.
• Responsible for sorting and washing soiled laundry, linen, garments, etc., in accordance with established procedures.
• Folding, stacking and hanging laundered items as directed.
• Removing lint, dirt, dust, grease, film, etc. from equipment or floor surface using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions.
• Applies health and safety regulations and policies that relate to own position; including exposure to blood or bodily fluids.
• Maintains/follows knowledge of safety issues.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred not required
• Experience working with seniors/in senior living preferred
