Job summary

Songbird Lodge in Brownwood, TX is seeking a Laundry Staff Member to provide clean linens and clothing for residents, maintaining comfort and hygiene across the facility.

You will operate household and industrial laundry equipment, fold and organize linens, deliver items to resident rooms, and ensure a clean, safe laundry area while following safety guidelines and infection control practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in laundry operations or healthcare environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.

In this role, you will:

• Wash & Dry Laundry: Utilize both household and industrial laundry equipment to clean resident and facility linens and clothing.
• Fold & Organize Linens: Fold and stack linen neatly, ensuring proper storage and distribution.
• Deliver Clean Linens: Ensure linens and laundry are delivered promptly to resident rooms and facility areas.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep laundry areas and equipment clean and in good working condition.
• Handle Chemicals Safely: Use approved laundry detergents and chemicals according to safety guidelines.
• Assist Residents: Deliver clothing directly to residents' rooms and ensure items are handled with care.
