Vicar's Landing in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL is seeking a Launderer I to manage resident laundry, linens, and clothing while upholding infection prevention and cleanliness standards. You will sort, wash, dry, and distribute items, ensuring careful handling of residents' belongings and maintaining a sanitary environment.

The role requires strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and in a team, and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate laundry equipment and handle cleaning products.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout a scheduled shift.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Process resident laundry, linens, towels, and other items through sorting, washing, drying, folding, pressing, and distribution activities.
• Follow established laundry procedures and infection prevention protocols to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Prepare and use cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer instructions and departmental guidelines.
• Collect, transport, and distribute laundry items throughout the community.
• Maintain laundry equipment, work areas, and storage spaces in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Inspect equipment and promptly report maintenance concerns, damaged equipment, or safety hazards.
• Follow safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment and safe handling of soiled linens.
• Complete required documentation, service requests, and incident reports accurately and timely.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and treat all residents, guests, and team members with courtesy, dignity, and respect.
• Assist with inventory management, supply stocking, and other departmental duties as assigned.
