Job summary

United Launch Alliance is offering a Mechanical Engineering Internship for Summer 2027. Interns will gain hands-on experience in analysis, design, data studies, and tools usage across flight hardware projects.

Travel to multiple ULA sites may be required, with a strong emphasis on collaboration with experienced engineers and day-to-day engineering tasks. Candidate should be pursuing a STEM bachelor's degree, plan to enroll in Fall 2027, and be able to commit full-time for 10 weeks.

Qualifications

• Must be actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field at an accredited college/university.
• Must plan to be enrolled during Fall Semester 2027.
• Ability to work full-time for a minimum of 10 weeks in Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis on existing flight hardware and assist in design and development of future hardware.
• Analyze data, conduct trade studies, and support tool design improvements.
• May travel to suppliers/ULA locations as needed.
• Shadow engineers and contribute to day-to-day engineering tasks.
