Job summary

Unified Fire Authority is offering opportunities for Entry Level Paramedics to join our organization through our Paramedic-Only process. Applicants who are hired will be put through a full 16-week recruit camp and graduate as a Firefighter Paramedic with UFA.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age by the written test date (October 2026) and must possess a Utah Paramedic License or National Registry Paramedic, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification at the time of application, with Utah paramedic

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old by the written test date.
• Must possess a Utah Paramedic License or National Registry Paramedic at the time of application.
• Utah paramedic license prior to a final job offer.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required at time of application.

Responsibilities

• Graduate as Firefighter Paramedic after completing the 16-week recruit camp.
• Participate in the recruitment process including written tests, oral board interview, EMS skills assessment, and agility test.
• Subject to background checks, medical physicals, and drug screening per NFPA standards.
