Job summary

Unified Fire Authority invites applicants to join through its Paramedic-Only process. Hirees will complete a 16-week recruit camp and graduate as a Firefighter Paramedic with UFA.

Applicants must be 18+ by the written test in October 2026 and hold a Utah Paramedic or National Registry Paramedic license, along with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Membership requires a valid Utah driver's license and the ability to pass background checks, medical screening, and the firefighter physical agility

Qualifications

• Utah Paramedic License or National Registry Paramedic, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications at the time of application.
• Utah paramedic license prior to a final job offer.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the department's entry-level recruitment process.
• Complete the 16-week recruit camp and graduate as a Firefighter Paramedic with Unified Fire Authority.
• Respond to scheduling, interviews, background checks, medical screenings, and onboarding steps as part of the process.
