Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A or B).
• High School diploma preferred.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse eligibility; no recent DUI/DWI.
• Airbrake endorsement may be required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Punctuality: Arrive on time and ready to work with the Driver Trainer.
• Safe Operation: Drive the ready-mix truck safely between sites and ensure proper deliveries.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety regulations (CEMEX, DOT, OSHA).
• Delivery & Timing: Ensure safe and timely delivery of concrete loads.
• Load Inspection & Adjustments: Inspect loads for safe delivery and adjust as needed.
• Concrete Mix Quality: Estimate slump and verify color/consistency of mixes.
• Equipment Maintenance: Keep truck and equipment clean and ready for use.
• Customer Service: Present a professional image and assist customers as needed.
• Team Coordination: Coordinate with dispatch and staff for efficient operations.
