Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen.
• At least 19 years old and no older than 29 at commissioning.
• Completed Calculus I & II and Physics I & II with Calculus.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations of nuclear-powered submarines and aircraft carriers.
• Teach fundamentals of nuclear science at the Nuclear Power School.
• Train students on a prototype naval reactor.
• Design and maintain nuclear propulsion systems at Naval Reactors Headquarters.
