Job summary

The John Gore Organization in Boca Raton is seeking an entry-level Software Engineer to design, build and maintain internal software applications and tools that support our business operations, working across the full stack from front-end interfaces to back-end services and databases.

You'll collaborate with senior engineers and stakeholders to write clean, testable code, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to ongoing improvements of our systems.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Microsoft .NET Framework and C# for building web applications.
• Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS for front-end development.
• Experience consuming and creating APIs; familiar with Blazor is a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud storage and relational/NoSQL databases; SQL/MS SQL/PostgreSQL/DynamoDB/S3.
• Understanding of SDLC and teamwork in agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Write, test and debug code across front-end and back-end components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects.
• Document code and technical processes.
• Collaborate with teams to design and implement new features.
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards.
• Continuously learn new tools, languages and best practices.
