Job summary

Joe Lunghamer Chevrolet Inc. is seeking a motivated LOF (Lube, Oil, and Filter) Service Technician in Waterford Township, Michigan. This full-time, hourly position offers a competitive pay range and benefits.

Training is available for those with limited automotive experience, with opportunities for internal advancement. Responsibilities include routine maintenance, inspections, and clear communication with service advisors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic or related values.
• ASE certification is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of Chevrolet vehicles and their systems is a plus.
• Strong technical and diagnostic abilities are essential.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on Chevrolet vehicles (oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements).
• Visually inspect vehicles for leaks, belts, brakes, air/cabin filters, wiper blades, etc.
