Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a GNC Systems Engineer to collect and define technical requirements for large launch vehicle programs. You will facilitate exchanges between GNC Flight Dynamics, Attitude Determination and Control, and Mission Management teams supporting multi-vendor contracts.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, familiarity with launch vehicle trajectories and attitude control topics, and the ability to work across multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline required.
• Experience communicating clearly with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Experience in modeling and simulation of satellite orbits.
• Basic understanding of GNC topics and related analysis.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate data exchange for Interface Control Document development.
• Collate Mission Management technical requests for GNC engineering.
• Support campaign planning for multiple launch vendors.
• Develop a common GNC engineering baseline of requirements across programs.
• Manage engineering trades for various launch vehicle designs.
• Provide technical expertise in trajectory requirements specification.
• Evaluate Launch Vehicle performance against mission requirements.
• Develop tools to support Mission Management planning for many launches.
