Job summary

Blue Origin in Florida seeks an Instrumentation & Controls Technician to install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain instrumentation and control systems that support critical launch and test operations across multiple sites.

You will work with engineers and technicians to build and sustain infrastructure, perform pre- and post-test checks, support propellant transfer, and help shorten campaign turnaround. Relocation is available; travel up to 25% for offsite tests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Instrumentation/controls experience in aerospace or related industries.
• Level I Technician: 0-3 years; Level II Technician: 3+ years; Level III Technician: not specified.

Responsibilities

• Test and launch operations support.
• Configure, check out, and verify instrumentation and control systems on test stands and ground support equipment.
• Perform pre- and post-test sensor and loop checks on valves, thermocouples, and 4–20mA loops.
• Support propellant offload and transfer operations by operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting control systems.
• Execute turnaround activities between campaigns to return stands to test-ready configuration.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and document issues with Test Conductors and engineers.
• Install, commission, and maintain wire and automated control systems.
• Build/install automation control panels and coordinate with vendors.
