Relativity Space, Inc. is hiring a Build Reliability Engineer II, Components in Long Beach, CA.

The role focuses on embedding reliability from design to production, aligning with design, manufacturing, test, and launch teams to ensure quality for the Terran R program. The successful candidate will have a BS in Engineering and 3+ years as a Quality Engineer, with GD&T knowledge and experience with PLM/MES/ERP/QMS systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or STEM, with 3+ years as a Quality Engineer in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Experience interfacing with design engineering, manufacturing, production and test personnel.
• Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing and quality processes/controls.
• Familiar with PLM/MES/ERP/QMS software and GD&T.
• Ability to solve complex problems and coordinate across teams.
• Strong communication skills across team members and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own design standardization, DFM, and configuration control.
• Review work instructions, develop processes, and create rework documentation.
• In-process build verification and coordination of traveled work.
• Drive quality initiatives for Terran R program and develop checklists.
• Build strong relationships with Engineering, Additive, Manufacturing, Test, and Launch teams.
