Job summary

TOOGANN TECHNOLOGIES in Michigan is seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE), Launch, to join our growing team. The SQE will be embedded within program teams to drive supplier readiness from APQP through Job 1, ensuring PPAP approval and on-time delivery of conforming parts for the production launch.

You will manage full APQP across a supplier portfolio, lead containment and corrective action for launch-phase quality issues, coordinate GP-12 and incoming inspection, and collaborate

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in supplier quality with vehicle/product launches incl. APQP, PPAP authority.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with Stampings, extrusions, seats, plastics, seals, lighting.
• Ability to identify process issues and drive quality improvements.
• Knowledge of launch readiness metrics, PPAP status tracking, supplier milestones.
• Interpretation of GD&T and drawings; experience with MSA, Cpk/Ppk.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills; high integrity.
• Thrives in a dynamic start-up environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive supplier readiness from APQP through Job 1.
• Ensure PPAP approvals and on-time delivery of conforming parts.
• Manage full APQP across supplier portfolio.
• Lead containment and corrective actions for launch-phase quality issues.
• Coordinate GP-12 / incoming inspection requirements; support tooling and capacity.
• Perform pre-launch audits (VDA 6.3 or equivalent) and collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and PM.
