Job summary

KIPP Memphis is opening KIPP Cordova Collegiate Elementary in Cordova, TN. The Director of School Operations will be the operational lead, founding team member, and will build the systems and routines to launch the new school.

During pre-opening, this role covers recruitment, community engagement, facility readiness, procurement, vendor coordination, and establishing school operations from the ground up. After opening, you will manage front office, external vendors, and support the instructional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 3-5 years of experience in school operations or education management.
• Demonstrated track record in project management, operational execution, and budget management.
• Experience supervising staff or cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-opening operations for KIPP Cordova Collegiate Elementary.
• Build systems, structures, routines, and operational foundations for launch.
• Recruitment, community engagement, facility readiness, procurement, vendor coordination, and organizing school materials.
• Lead day-to-day campus operations after opening to support teaching and learning.
• Report to the Managing Director of Operations and Principal; manage front office and outside vendors.
