KIPP Memphis is seeking a Director of School Operations to lead the launch of KIPP Cordova Collegiate Elementary. This role builds the systems, routines, and operational foundation to open successfully, collaborating with the Principal and regional leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in school operations, education management, non-profit administration, or project management.
• Demonstrated track record of successful project management, operational execution, and budget management.
• Experience managing staff, service vendors, or cross-functional team projects.

Responsabilités

• During pre-opening, build the systems, structures, routines, and operational foundation to launch a new school.
• Lead recruitment, community engagement, facility readiness, procurement, vendor coordination, and family/stakeholder events.
• Establish school operations from the ground up and ensure readiness for opening.
• Post-opening, lead day-to-day campus operations to support teaching and learning and focus on innovation and continuous improvement; work with founding team as needed.
• Report to the Managing Director of Operations and campus Principal; manage front office staff and external vendors; be part of the school leadership team.
