Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking a Launch Pad Technician I to support development, operations, and maintenance of pad systems at Cape Canaveral. You will work with engineering and operations teams to build, test, and operate fluid and mechanical assemblies for launch readiness.

The role requires hands-on fabrication, inspection of drawings, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Flexible hours and potential night shifts may apply as missions demand.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience fabricating, assembling, maintaining, or operating aerospace/mechanical hardware.
  • Ability to read and document work using software systems or similar tools.
  • Able to support flexible schedules and shift work, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Support launch pad development, launch operations, and pad maintenance tasks.
  • Read and follow engineering drawings, instructions, and procedures to fabricate and install fluids/ mechanical systems.
  • Assist with launch countdown operations, testing, and activities with engineering/operations teams.
  • Troubleshoot pad hardware issues with engineering or supervision.
  • Collaborate to improve safety, quality, and workflow.
