Qualifications include a mechanical or aerospace engineering degree and 0-2 years of related experience. The position offers a clear growth path within a dynamic launch environment at our Austin-area facilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or related engineering discipline.
  • 0-2 years of hands-on experience with fluids/pneumatic systems or related operations.
  • Experience designing, building, troubleshooting or operating complex fluid or pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

  • Assist senior fluids engineers in operation, maintenance and testing of launch pad fluids and pneumatic systems.
  • Participate in design reviews and collaborate with design engineers, technicians and partners.
  • Support system integrity testing to validate health, performance and readiness for launch campaigns.
  • Lead troubleshooting and resolve issues or non-conformances during operations and testing.
  • Write procedures for system operation, maintenance and vehicle testing operations.
