Job summary

Blue Origin in Merritt Island, FL is seeking an experienced engineer to join Launch Operations as a Test Conductor/Lead. You will work with a team of technicians and engineers to prepare the New Glenn launch vehicle and ground systems for flight, develop test procedures, and ensure safety and quality.

Responsibilities include developing ground software requirements, writing sequencer code, and managing production schedules, while mentoring staff and driving process improvements for

Qualifications

• Minimum BS degree in Engineering, Science, or Math.
• Minimum 5+ years in cryogenic, propellant handling, or engine systems.
• Strong operations planning and organizational skills.
• Effective technical communications capabilities.
• Ability to support occasional off shift work schedules.

Responsibilities

• As a member of Launch Operations, ensure launch vehicle and ground systems are prepared for flight.
• Develop ground software requirements, write sequencer code, and help create controller panels.
• Lead a team of technicians and engineers while prioritizing safety and quality.
• Develop production schedules, quality documents, and engineering processes.
• Author detailed procedures and help develop test equipment for integrated flight systems testing.
• Identify and correct anomaly causes during time-critical operations.
