Job summary

SpaceX in California is seeking a Launch Engineer, Spacecraft Integration (Payloads) to support Starlink satellite integration and customer payload integration. You will develop procedures for integration, work closely with engineering staff and technicians, and manage priorities to deliver high-quality results.

The role requires a engineering degree and 1+ years in related multidisciplinary assemblies, with strong communication and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• 1+ years of experience with multi-disciplinary system assemblies in aerospace, automotive, aircraft or marine contexts.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Familiarity with clean rooms, testing, data acquisition and hazardous environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for Starlink satellite integration and customer payload integration.
• Develop and execute procedures for integration and checkout of satellites and ground support equipment.
• Collaborate daily with engineering staff and technicians.
• Manage and track multiple priorities toward common project goals.
• Drive non-conformances into actionable items and improve work instructions.
