Job summary

AHEAD is seeking an Associate AI Engineer to join the LAUNCH program in Chicago. You will begin with a 3-month training within the Digital Solutions Group focused on Data solutions, then work on client projects based on skill and interest.

Ideal candidates have AI/ML fundamentals, Python expertise, and familiarity with GenAI tooling and cloud/container platforms. U.S. work authorization is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, with exposure to frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask.
• Familiarity with GenAI tooling (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) and vector stores (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of MLOps concepts—version control (Git, DVC), CI/CD, observability, and deployment best practices.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
• U.S. work authorization required.
