Latitude Partners are all former senior lawyers at law firms or legal departments, and have extensive community ties, practice experience and professional relationships. Latitude has offices in multiple cities across the United States and more than 5,000 attorneys in our talent pool (including attorneys in all 50 states). We are also globally ranked by Chambers & Partners.
Latitude is seeking highly entrepreneurial attorneys to join our team as partner-owners who will help us expand our footprint across the U.S. This is not a traditional legal role. Instead, it’s an opportunity to build your own business within the Latitude platform, develop client relationships, and be directly responsible for your own success.
As a Partner, you’ll co-own a Latitude operating company with its own P&L. With access to capital, national infrastructure, and a proven model, you’ll be given resources and playbooks that will enable you to grow your business your own way. While Latitude Partners have significant autonomy, flexibility, and a family-friendly schedule, success in this performance-based role requires full-time professional focus. Practicing law on the side or managing other work commitments is incompatible with the expectations and potential of this opportunity.
Our clients include some of the largest, most successful companies and law firms in the world — from Fortune 500 corporations to elite boutiques, Am Law 100 and 200 firms, and high-growth companies. Latitude clients expect precisely matched talent, and the most successful Partners are phenomenal listeners who obsess over finding the right fit.
Our highest performing Partners take full responsibility for the client experience, responding with urgency and focus, even outside standard hours when necessary. Latitude’s value is grounded in our status as a trusted advisor, and that trust is earned by those who take full ownership of every engagement.
You must thrive on business development — connecting with many decision-makers, talking about Latitude, and putting yourself out there. Having a strong legal network, especially among decision-makers at law firms and legal departments, can significantly accelerate your success.
If you are interested in this role, you may apply online and/or you are welcome to directly email Alex Su in confidence at asu@latitudelegal.com. Interested candidates may then be asked to complete a sales exercise that enables them to hit the ground running as a Latitude Partner.
Q: What other legal jobs do you have?
A: If you're interested in working with Latitude but do not think this particular legal job is the right one for you, we encourage you to explore our other open opportunities or fill out a General Application by visiting us at https://latitudelegal.com/jobs/
Q: Should I apply for this specific position if I have previously applied for another Latitude position?
A: Yes, it is better to apply to each Latitude job for which you are qualified and interested so that we immediately know of your interest in that specific role. This also enables you to share additional information about your qualifications or interest specific to each role. If you do not meet all the qualifications for a position but think you would still be highly effective in the role, it can be helpful to include a brief explanation in your application.
Q: How can I reduce the risk of missing Latitude's email inviting me to interview for this position?
A: Please safe-list Latitude's URL domain name (latitudelegal.com) in your spam filter so that an email from one of our recruiters does not get caught in your spam folder. Our recruiters will never contact you by email from a URL other than latitudelegal.com
Q: My current legal team needs help. How can I see some Latitude candidates for my legal team?
A: The fastest way is to submit the very short form on our website contact page. A member of our client services team will be back in touch with you very fast to learn more about your need so we can provide you with on point candidates to consider.
