The Food & Beverage Department plays a crucial role in providing world-class hospitality and ensuring seamless operations across multiple venues. In addition to Latitude, this position provides support and oversight for Lava Love Coffee Bar and Flo Bar, ensuring consistency and excellence across all beverage outlets.

Job Summary:

The Latitude Supervisor at Black Desert Resort is responsible for supporting the daily front-of-house (FOH) operations of Latitude Restaurant, ensuring exceptional service, team leadership, and operational efficiency. Reporting to the General Manager – Latitude Restaurant, this position plays a hands-on role in service execution, staff training, and guest relations while maintaining the highest hospitality standards. Additionally, the Latitude Supervisor assists in overseeing the Lava Love Coffee Bar and Flo Bar, ensuring these outlets operate efficiently and meet resort service expectations.

Job Specifications:

Onsite: Black Desert Resort – Latitude Restaurant, Lava Love Coffee Bar, and Flo Bar

Shift & Schedule Availability: Year-Round / Full-Time

Pay Rate: $18 - $22/hr. This is the pay rate we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in overseeing FOH operations at Latitude Restaurant, Lava Love Coffee Bar, and Flo Bar, ensuring smooth service and adherence to resort hospitality standards.
  2. Train, mentor, and supervise servers, bartenders, baristas, and hosts, fostering a guest-first culture and high-performing team.
  3. Ensure efficient service flow by coordinating with the culinary team and beverage staff to maintain exceptional guest experiences.
  4. Assist in staff scheduling, labor management, and shift planning to optimize productivity and service levels.
  5. Support guest relations, handling special requests, resolving concerns, and enhancing the overall dining and beverage experience.
  6. Maintain venue cleanliness, ambiance, and presentation, ensuring all FOH areas uphold luxury service standards.
  7. Assist with inventory control, ordering, and stock management for restaurant and beverage operations.
  8. Lead pre-shift meetings, communicating menu updates, promotions, and service expectations.
  9. Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, and accurate financial reporting for Latitude, Lava Love Coffee Bar, and Flo Bar.
  10. Support event coordination and execution, including private dining experiences, coffee tastings, and specialty beverage promotions.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 2 years of restaurant or food & beverage experience, preferably in a luxury or fine dining setting.
  2. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a passion for hospitality and service excellence.
  3. Knowledge of wine pairings, coffee programs, and craft cocktail service.
  4. Experience with POS systems, reservations software, and inventory management.
  5. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on restaurant and bar operations.
  6. ServSafe and responsible alcohol service certification preferred.
