Office Manager Salary: $20.00/HR or Salary $41,600.00

Position Summary:

The Office Manager will work collaboratively with the Program Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Outpatient Behavioral Health program, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and relevant standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide office support functions including reception/front desk services to ensure smooth unit operations.
  • Maintain databases, including client records and insurance information.
  • Review client authorizations for services.
  • Oversee clients' appointment schedules with psychiatrists, therapists, and nurses using Evolv Electronic Health Record.
  • Audit scheduling of follow-up appointments for physicians.
  • Prepare and generate reports in Evolv.
  • Learn and operate new managed care insurance systems and scheduling/reauthorization systems.
  • Ensure services are provided in a manner that preserves client rights and dignity, safeguarding health, safety, and well-being.
  • Engage positively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain a professional, customer-focused demeanor.
  • Communicate regularly with supervisors, follow directives, and observe organizational hierarchy.
  • Adapt work schedule to meet unit needs.
  • Participate in activities and projects that support broader organizational goals.
  • Comply with all policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
  • Seek professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Assist during inspections by state, CBH, and other managed care entities.
Requirements:
  • Associate Degree in Business plus six years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma/GED plus eight years of relevant experience. Experience must include medical billing and intake functions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
