Job summary

Language Trainers is seeking a freelance Latin language tutor for a client in San Antonio, TX. The position is one-to-one, totaling 50 hours with 2-hour sessions at the student’s office.

Ideal candidates are native Latin speakers or hold a teaching qualification, with experience in teaching, translating, or interpreting. Must reside within 20 miles of San Antonio, hold a valid work permit, and be available on Mondays/Wednesdays or Tue/Thu between 10am and 3pm. Start ASAP; hourly rate negotiable.

Qualifications

• Native Latin speaker or qualified teacher.
• Experience teaching languages, translating, or interpreting.
• Authorized to work in the United States; eligible to work legally.
• Residence within 20 miles of San Antonio, TX 78201.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one Latin lessons to a beginner student.
• Tailor materials and activities to the student’s goals and level.
• Coordinate schedule with the student and the client, including Mon/Wed or Tue/Thu slots.
• Provide clear feedback and track progress, aiming for the specified 50 hours.
