Job description

We are looking for a Latin teacher for grades 7-12 for year 1-3 of Latin using Wheelock's as well as Lingua Latina Per Illustration. The ideal candidate has either a Bachelors or Masters in Classics or Latin, or has passed a PRAXIS in the field.

Liberty Tree Academy uses a BCSI/Hillsdale-college inspired curriculum which focuses heavily on the classics. Our Latin classes focus on grammar and translation while also touching on conversational Latin, history, mythology, and the literature of the Greco-Roman world.

Compensation starts at $42,000 with benefits and pension, but is also competitive with schools in our area and based on experience. We are located in Falcon, CO which is about 10 miles from the center of scenic Colorado Springs.
