As a Private Banker Associate in the Latin America Private Bank, your primary responsibility is to support a Senior Banker in managing their client portfolio. You will assist in client acquisition and retention through a broad understanding of investments, banking, trust services, and financial planning. Your goal is to enhance the client experience and support the delivery of comprehensive wealth management solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Provide support to the Senior Banker on daily client priorities.
  2. Assist in the sales process and ongoing client management, including preparing pitch books, coordinating information, communicating with clients, and executing client needs.
  3. Help manage client hierarchy and pipeline activities.
  4. Support the sale of investment, banking, and trust services, including asset allocation, portfolio reviews, deposit and loan solutions, and identifying wealth planning opportunities.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Fluency in Spanish is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Series 7 & 66 licenses are required; unlicensed candidates may be considered but must obtain licenses within 90 days of start date.
  • Experience in sales or client origination.
  • Coachable with good business acumen.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Advanced degrees or certifications such as MBA, JD, CFA, or CFP are preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to learn proprietary wealth planning software, including Planning Station, WA models, and MAPS/CHART.
