Job summary

ANDRITZ in Chesterton, IN is seeking a CNC Lathe Operator to initiate machining processes and set up CNC lathes. You will select tools, determine feeds and speeds, and operate the CNC lathe to manufacture precision parts.

Qualified candidates have at least 3 years of CNC lathe experience, can read blueprints, and are proficient with measuring tools like micrometers and calipers; overhead crane experience is a plus. Physical requirements apply.

Qualifications

The Role

Under the direction of the Working Shop Supervisor , the CNC Lathe Operator is responsible for Initiating machining processes, tool selections, feeds, and speeds for a variety of materials.

• Notify Supervisor with any problems of procedures or equipment.
• Performs set-ups and operate CNC Lathe Machine
