Job summary

A to Z Machine is hiring a CNC Lathe Machinist in Appleton, WI. This employee-owned company offers 1st or 2nd shift, a 36-hour workweek with pay for 40, and a 7% shift premium.

You will program, set up, and operate Doosan CNC lathes with Fanuc controls, working on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines, while upholding 6S and safety standards and continuously improving tooling and setups.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC lathe experience in a job shop environment.
• Familiar with Doosan CNC lathes and Fanuc controls.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate Doosan CNC lathes (12-32" chucks) with Fanuc controls.
• Work on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines in a non-production setting.
• Collaborate with the team to choose the most efficient machining methods.
• Ensure accuracy and part quality based on blueprints and specs.
• Follow 6S and safety protocols to maintain a top-tier work environment.
