The Walpole Police Department is seeking a Full‑Time Lateral Transfer Officer. This role requires active sworn status, state training completion, and eligibility for waivers where applicable, with the ability to pass medical, psychological, and oral interviews.

Minimum qualifications include 24 months of full‑time service in a civilian jurisdiction, an associate degree or veteran status, and good standing with the NDI. Salary ranges and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Must pass medical and psychological exams and an oral interview.
• Must have 24+ months of full‑time service as a sworn officer in a civilian jurisdiction.
• State Basic Training Academy completion or equivalency test required.
• NDI certification in good standing is required.
• MPTC Academy status or waiver eligibility.
