Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid California POST Basic Certificate.
• Meet POST requirements including age and citizenship as outlined.

Responsibilities

• Enforces local, state, and federal laws; patrols City areas by car, motorcycle, or on foot.
• Responds to calls related to protection of life and property; investigates incidents and emergencies.
• Interrogates suspects, conducts investigations, and testifies in court.
