Qualifications

• Minimum (3) three years of sworn peace officer experience.
• Be 21 years old by the projected end date of the Academy.
• US citizen or lawfully admitted for permanent residence (I-9/immigration status).
• Have completed high school or GED equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Handle (emergency and non-emergency) calls for service.
• Investigate and determine what type of crimes have occurred.
• Make sound decisions using knowledge, training, and experience.
• Positively interact with the public.
• Work in all weather conditions; work is primarily in the field.
