The City of Aurora, Colorado is seeking entry level Patrol Officers for the Aurora Police Department to establish the 2027-2B Group A Certified Eligibility List. The academy is projected to begin May 17, 2027, and ends November 10, 2027, with a November 2, 2026 deadline for applications.

Pay starts at $72,100 annually, plus overtime eligibility under FLSA. Applicants must meet CO POST requirements, maintain citizenship or eligible permanent residency, and have a high school/GED.

• Candidates should possess good interpersonal skills and common sense.
• Ability to problem solve in diverse community scenarios.
• Must be able to meet minimum qualifications for original appointment per CO POST.
